Cost to max everything from your Town Hall

Sums every remaining upgrade from this TH to a fully maxed base.

How to use the upgrade cost calculator

  1. Pick what you are upgrading. The first dropdown lists every defense, army building, resource building, trap, hero, pet, troop and spell in our dataset.
  2. Set your current level. Choose the level you have right now, or "Not built yet" for a brand new building.
  3. Set your target level. The result shows the total resource cost, the total time and a per-level breakdown with the Town Hall each level needs.
  4. Check the big picture. The second block sums everything remaining from your Town Hall level so you can plan the grind.

Example: Archer Tower level 10 to 14

An Archer Tower pushed from level 10 to 14 costs 3,400,000 gold and takes 1d 12h of builder time across 4 upgrades. The per-level table in the calculator shows each step, so you can budget one level at a time instead of saving the full amount.

How the calculator works

Every cost, build time and Town Hall requirement comes from the Clash of Clans Wiki (snapshot 2026-10-11; per-table sources on the methods page). The calculator sums the levels between your current and target level: nothing is estimated, interpolated or made up.

Assumptions and limits

  • Costs are full, undiscounted values. Gold Pass perks, event discounts and special offers are not applied.
  • Heroes use dark elixir costs per level; the Grand Warden follows the resource the wiki lists for him.
  • Troop and spell costs are laboratory research costs; unlocking the unit in the barracks is separate.
  • The cost to max assumes you keep every building at the maximum level of your Town Hall before moving up, and counts the full wall set at gold prices.
  • Home village only: Builder Base and Clan Capital are not included.

Frequently asked questions

How much gold does it cost to max from TH10?
Going from a fully maxed TH9 base to a fully maxed base costs about 16,448,978,800 gold, 4,473,200,000 elixir and 83,636,500 dark elixir, including walls at gold prices, heroes, pets and lab research. The cost to max tables break this down for every Town Hall level.
What is the most expensive single upgrade in the game?
In our wiki snapshot (2026-10-11) the most expensive single upgrade is Grand Warden to level 85 at 30,500,000 elixir.
Does the cost calculator include Builder Base?
No. CoCPlanner covers the home village only: defenses, army buildings, resource buildings, traps, walls, heroes, pets and laboratory research. Builder Base costs may be added later.
Are wall costs included in the cost to max?
Yes, walls are included at their gold price for the full wall count available at each Town Hall level. If you pay with elixir for the levels where that is allowed, your gold bill drops. Use the wall cost calculator for exact wall math.
Why does a cost in the game differ from the calculator?
Supercell rebalances upgrade costs in some updates. Our data is a snapshot of the Clash of Clans Wiki from 2026-10-11. If you spot a mismatch, send us a note and we will recheck the table against the wiki.
Do Gold Pass discounts or events change these numbers?
No. All costs are the full, undiscounted values from the wiki. A Gold Pass builder boost reduces build time, and seasonal events can reduce costs, so your real bill can be lower.

How you can trust these numbers

  • Every cost, build time and Town Hall requirement is compiled from the Clash of Clans Wiki, snapshot taken 2026-10-11. Per-table sources are listed on the data and methods page.
  • The math runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you pick or type is uploaded, stored or tracked. See the privacy policy.
  • Assumptions (builder count, no boost potions, sequential Town Hall order) are shown next to every result so you can judge them yourself. Spotted a wrong value? Tell us and we will recheck it against the wiki.
